Thank you for choosing our app Dr. Free Gift! Yes, you can configure your gift goals to allow customers to decline the offered gifts. There are two main methods to set this up, depending on how the gifts are added to the cart:

For Automatic Gift Addition
If your goal automatically adds gifts to the cart, simply check the “Enable gift removable” option within the goal settings.

For Manual Choice Goals If your goal requires customers to manually choose their gift, ensure the “No thanks” button is enabled in the Gift Choice Modal settings. This button will appear in the Gift Choice Modal, allowing customers to decline the gift if they choose.

In both cases, follow these steps to ensure all necessary features are configured:

Enable the “No thanks” Button in the Gift Choice Modal

Go to the app’s Home Page.
Scroll down to the “Setup a Gift Choice Modal” section.
Click the “Setup” button.
Look for the “No thanks” button configuration and ensure it is enabled.

Enable the Gift Cart Item Options Link

In the app’s left sidebar, click “Settings”.
Switch to the “Cart Items” tab.
Enable the “Gift Variant Selection / Gift Choice” section.
Configure the trigger link for the Gift Choice Modal, including:
- Button text
- Size
- Color
- Alignment
- Additional styling options

Below the trigger label options are also the options for a minimal gift variant choice selection modal, which appears for automatically added gifts which are not configured to be removable, and do not require using the full-scale gift choice modal.

Once the Gift Choice Modal is configured with the “No thanks” button, and the trigger to open the modal is enabled, customers will have a seamless way to decline gifts they don’t want to receive.

This ensures flexibility and an enhanced shopping experience, letting customers control their choices directly from the cart.
